    National Capacity Building on Interpretation and Presentation

    International Center for the Interpretation and Presentation of World Heritage Sites(WHIPIC) provides capacity building programmes for World Heritage managers and site interpretators to strengthen the world heritage system and policies, world heritage interpretation and the ability to practice in the field. Moreover, our center holds various special lectures and field trips to help future talents, such as youth and college students, understand the importance of heritage. 

    Main Activities

    • Provide practical knowledge necessary for interpretation and presentation and its importance of education for site managers
    • Teach adolescents and  youths about the meaning and its value of World Heritage and go on field trips to help understand about the World Heritage

    Target Groups

    • World Heritage managers engaged in management and preservation of World Heritage sites in South Korea

    • Adolescents and youths interested in World Heritage Interpretation and Presentation
