A Conversation with UNESCO's Deputy Director-General (DDG) and Assistant Director-General (ADG)

The Centre participated in a meeting with UNESCO's DDG and ADG as part of the '20th Anniversary of the Intangible Heritage Protection Convention International Conference & Seoul Vision Declaration' event held on July 25th in Seoul. This meeting provided an opportunity to share the significant activities of the C2 centres in Korea and to engage in open discussions with the DDG, ADG, and the working staff of each organisation.

The Centre delivered a focused overview of how the C2s collaborate in the field of World Heritage through the annual meeting of C2s related to the World Heritage held in May. Additionally, participants from our Centre actively engaged in the discussions and shared their perspectives on the identity of C2 organizations within the UNESCO system and their expectations as key implementers of UNESCO's strategies and policies.
