Participation of the Information Session for the Extended 45th Session of the World Heritage Committee

From July 20th to 25th, our centre visited Paris, France to attend the Information Session for the Extended 45th Session of the World Heritage Committee. During the information meeting, we gathered general information of the World Heritage Committee such as the detailed schedule, order of the agenda, arrangement of side events, etc... In addition, through meetings with the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Korea to UNESCO and specialists from the World Heritage Centre, we discussed about the direction of our centre’s projects and cooperation, including the committee agenda analysis and international partnership building. Also, we recognised the importance of enhancing the understanding of World Heritage interpretation and presentation and the need for close cooperation between UNESCO Category 2 centres.
