2. Responsibilities
○ After hiring, job assignments will be made based on individual career background and skills among the following areas of work:
- Implement research and policy development on EIU/GCED
- Organize domestic and international training workshops on EIU/GCED
- Carry out networking activities with partner institutions/individuals and public relations tasks related to EIU/GCED
- Implement planning and administrative tasks related to the operation of APCEIU.
3. Required Qualifications
○ Education
- Master’s Degree or above (Expected graduates of August 2026 included)
* Appointment will be revoked if a master’s degree is not obtained by August 2026.
○ Nationality
- Non-Korean nationals from the UNESCO Member States in the Asia-Pacific region

○ Work Experience
- Relevant experiences or interest in the field of EIU/GCED
○ Languages
- Excellent written and spoken English and working-level proficiency in Korean

4. Conditions of Employment
○ Employment Type: Regular staff, full-time position
○ Employment Grade: Based on APCEIU’s qualifications for new employment and the work experience conversion rate, candidates will be appointed to Grade 5-B, Grade 5-A, or Grade 4-B permanent positions.
○ Working Hours: 09:00-18:00, Five days a week (Mon-Fri)
○ Location: APCEIU Office (Guro-gu, Seoul)
○ Compensations and Benefits: In accordance with the APCEIU’s Salary Regulations
* Annual Salary Levels by the Grade
- Grade 5-B : approx. 40,000,000 KRW (tax included)
- Grade 5-A : approx. 44,000,000 KRW (tax included)
- Grade 4-B : approx. 48,000,000 KRW (tax included)
5. Expected Employment Start Date

* A 1-year probationary period will apply from the date of appointment.
