Events with Sejong Citizens to
Raise Public Awareness

From December 2 to 3, the center conducted a survey among Sejong citizens to raise public awareness. This became an opportunity to enhance public understanding of world heritage and draw closer to citizens.
This event conducted at Sejong City Hall on the 2nd proceeded smoothly in cooperation among cultural art circles, and the presence of Min-ho Choi, the Major of Sejong, dignified the event.

During the event conducted on the square in front of Geumgang Footbridge on the 3rd, which was a cold day, hot coffee and cookies were offered through food trucks to citizens. During the two days, 328 Sejong citizens participated in the survey. ‘My favorite world heritage sites’ of Sejong citizens included Seokguram and Bulguksa Temple (77), Gyeongju Historic Areas (33), Baekje Historic Areas (31) Changdeokgung Palace (27), Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes (27), and Hwaseong (20) in the order.
